BioWare's current hit wins yet another award

BioWare Corp. is pleased to announce that its Activision (UK) published smash hit Star Wars:® Knights of the Old RepublicTM, has won a Golden Joystick Award for the Xbox Game of the Year. It was also one of two finalists in the category Ultimate Game of the Year. "We are thrilled to see the efforts of our hard-working, smart, creative and passionate BioWare employees recognized with a fan-driven award," said Dr. Ray Muzyka, Joint CEO of BioWare Corp. Votes for the Golden Joystick awards are placed by fans and then tallied by a committee in association with MTV UK, Computer and Video Games.com and PC Zone UK. "To have our efforts recognized by the fans is really an honour for us. BioWare goes to great lengths to incorporate fan feedback into each new game and this award acknowledges that our team hit the mark," commented Dr. Greg Zeschuk, Joint CEO, BioWare Corp.
BioWare's next project for the Xbox is Jade EmpireTM which is to be published by Microsoft in late 2004.
