When runnin from the cops or in a pursuit to do milestones use a all wheel drive car cause they have the best acceleration for taking off rear wheel drive will just sit there and spin!

253 mph

Firstly type in the burger king cheat at the start screen
Then do the burger king challenge in the challenge series.
Once you have done this you will have unlocked the Junkman parts,
Which will be remembered from NFSU.

If you add these parts to a Lamborghini Murcielago that has been fully modified for max speed, the 253 mph can be reached in Drag race mode on what I think is the Camden and seaside drag race.

And of course 253 mph is faster than the fastest car in the world, the bugatti Veyron....

The Best and worst cars to buy, and upgrade

Hey everyone, just wanted to tell all you high speed racers out there what cars in the game are good to buy, upgrade, enter pursuits with, and race with. NOTE: All the following cars have level 3 performance (Ultimate) They have no junkmans whatsoever! In my garage, I have: Lamborghini Gallardo (From Ming) Awesome car, definetley worth getting! Ford Mustang GT (Bought): Good for pursuits and racing. Chevy Corvette C6 (Bought): Good in races and pursuits, like my Mustang. Porsche Cayman S (From Baron): Good all-rounder. Pontiac GTO (Bought): Not so good when fully upgraded with Ultimate. Has worse stats then any of my other cars. What a shame. It looks cool though! Mercedes SL 500 (Bought): Good all-rounder, like the Cayman S.

Blacklist Cars

When you win a blacklist car, you might want to use it as your own. You need it because it has some junkman parts along with the parts installed it. Also, it saves you the grief of buying a good car and spending all of your money on it. When you win a blacklist car, put the required parts in it and use it for career mode. This especially works if you won the pinkslip to Ming's car.

Catching up

If you are just about to finish a race, and someone is about to beat you, and you are desperate to win, turn on the speed breaker. Keep it on until you have lost about half of it, then let go. It will take a few seconds to kick in, then you will catch up. But if you want to make sure this works, press and hold NOS after you used speed breaker (if you have any left).

Control

This is a hint for people who have trouble keeping their car under control and who have trouble handling. When you go down a straight road, press and hold your NOS until you lose about half of it, then let go. Now your car should be going straight without a problem. The secret is that when you press NOS, it adds more torque to your ride and makes your chassis heavy, therefor giving you more traction and stability. Now for the turning. If you have trouble steering, turn on speed breaker. Keep it on for half the turn, then let it go. You should go through the corner just fine.

Test

If you have unlocked a car in career mode and you want it, don't buy it directly. The first thing to do is customize the car how you want it. Then, put all the available performance parts you have on it. Then race it to test it. If you like it, buy it in career mode. If you don't like it, don't buy it. This saves you a chunk of money. It helped me beat Bull and Razor! Oh, and another thing: if you do want to buy the car, then make sure that you have enough money to buy it and the performance parts for it.

Chases

While having a chase of the cops I reckonits easiest to go on the motorway and burn round at about 200 cos nothin can stop you and you smash through the road block

Transporter

If you want to be a Transporter, get the Audi A4 3.2 FSI QUATRO.Don't put any parts.You can put every Performance to the highest.The base paint should be Gloss black(At the bottom the numbers should say 62/80)Don't put any vinyls. No rim paint.Leave the Window Tint at stock. No decals. No numbers. And you can put any kind of Guages.

And for the nick you can call yourself SLiCK(or SLICK), Transpo.,TPorter(you can use these your own nick)

Get Ahead

This is a trick that will give you an excellent start and into middle gears quicker. To get as much speed as possible, try to start off on a perfect start. After you get ahead of everyone, blast your NOS just until you shift into the next gear on each gear. You should then be 10 or something miles away from them. (NOTE: Only do this trick when the coast is clear and you are going as straight as possible)

The Ultimate Hint

To get 100% completion in career mode, you have to beat all the races and milestones. To make it easier for you on races go on quick race and select the track that you are going to race on in career mode and set the options on it and that will be applied to that specific race in career mode. For example, if you are about to race on a board called Hastings in career mode before you do that go to quick race, choose custom race, pick the board Hastings, and set the options like only 1 lap.

P.S. If you are racing on lap knockout for options choose 1 opponent and you will only have to do 1 lap on career mode even though there are 2 or 3 opponents.

Easy Pink Slip

Before racing any of the blacklist members save your progress and then race the member. If you do not get the pink slip the first time, restart and race the member again until you get it.

Pursuit Wrecker

When you are in a pursuit and you are stuck, DO NOT PRESS THE SELECT BUTTON. Your BUSTED meter goes all the way up no matter what. It's a bit of an inconvenience, I know, but I suppose it makes sense.

Pink Slip Hint

People, I've just figured this out.

To get a Pink Slip easier, remember in which position of the three "?" markers you got your last Pink Slip. On your next selection, the Pink Slip is on a different spot. There's a very little possibility for the Pink Slip to be on the same marker.

It has worked for me up to now, and my last car was the Corvette, so it works.

Little extra distance

When in a high ranked pursuit (4 or 5) use the lamborghini gallardo and go as fast as you can through a city then use the speedbreaker to make a sharp turn and hit the nos and you should make the cops crash or fall back alot

Hint Correction

People, my previous hint was sort of wrong. The Supra is a very fast car, but it's the hardest to handle, so unless you are very experienced, don't use it. I am again using the GTI, and I've just beaten Big Lou, so it's a good car after all; don't sell it as my previous submission said. It's stats are now even better than the Supra's.

If you want to follow my past advice, it's ok; but careful with the Supra. Żou can't say I didn't warn you...

Easy Beat Vic with the GTI

Alright people, many of us know that Vic is hard to beat, I've just beat him some minutes ago, and it took me like 7 times to beat him. On the last time, I found something useful, so this advice will suit better for rookies with some experience at driving.

Upgrade your Golf GTI the best as possible, (I couldn't uprgade brakes beacuse I was missing some cash) without Junkman Parts, and on the Performance Tuning menu (press Start, and toggle the icons to find Peformance Tuning) and set your car all stats to right - max, except for steering and ride height; these go to the left - minimum. Your GTI's stats equal to Vic's Supra's, but I guess there's a minimum difference (I do mean MINIMUM) in handling. Now race Vic. Your ride is now faster, and you can turn easier without much pressure. It should take some time to get used to it, but believe me, it's useful.

A HINT for the first Sprint: After you start, make Vic crash , but make sure he stays there a long time. If done well, you'll leave him far behind. At the beginning, you'll go faster than him. During the race your GTI will mostly stay at the same distance from the Supra, sometimes more, sometimes less, but this advantage is great for the last part, where he amazingly speeds up. With an advantage of 460m - 1380 ft, I beat him with a distance of 70 m - 210 ft, so don't get cocky.

Anyway, when you beat Vic,try to get the Pink Slip to get his Supra. And some cash too, you'll need it for this. Once back on the map, go to the nearest shop and upgrade the Supra to the max possible. Now check the stats and compare them with your GTI's. They're by far much better, so drive the Supra from now on, and if you want, sell the GTI. I didn't sell it for some reasons. It's my Pursuit car, and it has 745,000 bounty, 21 pursuits, never busted.

It's me again.The second part of losing the cops faster.
You also can get back of a/the cop car, then get farther then hit the rear bumper real hard then they'll lose control of their car.

If you want to lose the cops I recomend you to trick them into going to one way but actually go to the other direction, but time it fast.And they need to be in front of you.

It should work.It worked for me.

If you like ramming into cop cars that are in level 5, you should use the same car and don't custimize it,the car should be fast,if it's reall fast that means it's like a tank.Try it on the roadblocks, but be careful there might be the spikes and that will slow down your car.Sometimes the roadblocks don't have spikes, it just has open space, but since you like ramming into cop cars I recomend you ramming into them, first you should go to more than 120 miles per hour then ram into the cop car, but if you're slow don't ram into to it or you'll go slow and they might make a box and you might get stuck then you're busted.

Porshe

After you beat the 3rd Blacklist Racer then the Porshe Garrera Gt(?) will be unlocked all you have to do is buy it it only cost 180,000$ and then upgrade all of it's parts to ultimate and it will toast any car in the game. Just don't use it for the pursuits instead use the eclipse because with the right parts it is like a tank all you need is a body kit and some good upgrades like to super pro or ultimate.

Cross' corvette team

Now there's no way of racing #2 (Bull) without encountering Cross' corvette team. You need to. You'll need a decent car to drive like the viper or corvette or either of the lamborghinis. Don't stay on the same path too long or they'll gang up on you. Try to spread out and go to different areas of the city. Trust me the corvette team isn't that tough once you've outrun them a couple of times.

$600,000

Here's a good way to get the Porsche Carrera GT. (I know I didn't spell it right) When you get to #6, the car should be in the last 2 [?] markers(if not then... Good luck finding it), use whatever money you have left to buy all of the availabe performance parts. Then don't spend any more of your money. Beat #5 with it and select that last 2 [?] again. Use some money to upgrade it's performance and buy whatever performance part is availabe. Keep doing this until you beat #3. If you did this right you should have at least over $600,000 and enough to buy the porshe and it's performance upgrades. You'll smoke all of the races with this car.

(some of the blacklist racers over #6 doesn't need upgrading that much 'cause it's already upgraded to the max. But sometimes the car only has like pro nitrous so upgrade it to super or ulitmate.)

Beating the game easily if you have alot of money

If you have alot of money then go to the car lot and get the Porshe Cerrera GT and then go to the shop and put all performance upgrades on it. DONT worry about the looks.

Beating the game from blacklist 6

After you beat blacklist 6 pick the middle and the left marker to get his car. After you get the car go to the shop and get all the unlocked stuff and put it on your car. Then go to the blacklist and continue with the rest of the game. This is the recommended car that I used during the game and I'm on blacklist # 2.

Too loose level 5 heat meter

If you want to take off the level 5 heat meter when Razor says something after you defeat a race or milestone in blacklist #4 or # 3 you need to keep racing on of them for about 15-20 times,but it'll work,if it doesn't work keep trying that and it'll work,because I tried it and it worked.

Traffic

If you see a crowded road or need to change lanes fast before you hit a car release " x " .
It should give you more traction and can easily manuver you in and out of traffic.

Razor

Razor isn't as tough as you think he is. I don't know how he could've gotten to the top of the Blacklist. The point is he can't handle his car. Once you've beaten Bull, pick the first 2 markers and somewhere in those you should get his pink slip. You'll easily beat Razor with the Mclaren.

Impound Strikes and Heat Level

Here's a secret that I'll bet that some people already know about. When your car has a high level of heat and a few impound strikes and it's your only car, the only way to make that go away is to turn off the game befor you get in any more trouble with ure car and stop playing the game for 2-3 days. When you turn on the game a few days later, your impuond strikes will be gone as well as your heat level too(heat level 1) But I don't really know it this works 'cause in my game it does. It really does.

Speeding

When in a pursuit don't try to outrun the higher levels of heat. You'll have to use smart evasive manuvers to get away. Try to control your speed when running from the cops depending on how big the road is. While the **** would you go over 175 on a 2 lane road???!!!
Try and keep a decent speed limit that's fast but could manuver you in and out of traffic depending on how big the road is.

Cars that are good during pursuits

You know the cars that carry super charegers on. Most of those cars can just smash through road blocks like nothing( best if used speedbreaker when crashing through roadblocks. If you have th lotus that works too you just go through the tiny spaces between the roadblocks.

Extra money!

When you win a pink slip, take the car you won to any body or performance shop, install as many original parts as you can
E.g. Standard vinyls etc you will recieve the money the parts would have cost you if you bought them, without reducing how much you can sell the car for.

NOS increases grip.

Using NOS pushes down the back chassis, therefore pushing the wheels closer to the ground and gives you more grip. So, if you need to take on a sharp corner, hold R1 to slide into it and press L1 on the way out, it mightn't seem like it but it gives you more grip, try it.

Winning races

When in a race with sharp turns, use nos as you leave to give a boost of accelleration!

Advice

When in a pursuit listen to the police radio and use your speedbreaker to dodge the spikestrips.

Evading the cops

I've found the best way to get away from the cops is by getting in to cooldown then pressing <-left and putting the GPS on to the nearest hiding spot.

This will get you there quicker and even if you get spotted by the cops while going there when you reach the hiding spot they won't follow you in and you will lose them and be right in the hiding spot for a quick evasion.

Pink Slip

To get a rivals pink slip to get their cars after you beat them pick the middle {?} token then the left hand one this has given me a 70% of pink slips this way and I'm down to blacklist number 4. The ones I didnt get cars with this way was:
Number15(i didnt no how to do it yet)
Number14
Number 7

For beginners at tollbooth races

If you are a beginner and think that taking shortcuts on tollbooths is smart, you're wrong. Taking shortcuts aren't smart unless you know what you are doing, because 90% of the time, again only if you are unexpierienced and new to the game, trying those "smart" shortcuts will end in a crash. So, just leave the tollboth shortcuts to pros. Peace out. Hope this helps.

P.S. I've beaten the game 4 times (I'm about to race Kaze on the 5th), so, as a highly experienced NFSMW veteran, I know what I'm talking about, so don't even try to tell me I'm wrong.

Confusing switch

Once you have one the 2 markers and you want the car and you don't get it and you turn it off and get the two markers again, the pinkslip has actually moved from where it was last so don't pick the one it was at last time.

3 CARS

Ok people say that you should have 2 cars to complete the game.
Well when I completed the game the first time I used 3. 1 for the low risk races, 1 for the pursuits and 1 for the high risk races. If yuor a beginner, and have read this you will certainly find the game slightly easier. Happy racing

I suggest you get a viper because when you get it to it's fastest, it's stats will almost be full and it's the best car to beat razor.

When your in a cop chase and you need loads of milestones then find your way onto the first cities motorway then once completed all milestones lose them in the city try takin tricky corners and edgin your way around them after that bust through some pursuit breakers and head into a place were you can tke cover works best on level five becuse the corvettes are too muscely and can't take corners aswell as other cars ( may I suggest you use your beggining car to do this not a really fast good one that you need for later races ) peace out hope this helps from your lil pal scoi

1 DIFFERENCE!!

Did you know that there is 1 difference between need for speed most wanted (normal) and black edition that is you get 3 crap cars when you complete the game other than that they are the same I do not recomend buying black edition because they are the same so DO NOT waste your money!

Tips from experinece

I am back again with some great tips to help you get through this one!

1. Like in Underground, upgrade your performace first
2. Try to always have at least 2 cars. That way you won't get stuck with 1 car that is at level 5 heat.
3. Try to pick the right car for the right race. A viper has more power while a lancer will have better handling. 4. Don't spend a ton on expensive cars. When fully upgraded, all the cars will pretty much be even with each other. 5. When evading the cops, stay in the city centers for as much as possible, make quick turns and hit as many persuit breakers as you can. This will keep you alive pretty well even in level 5.
6. When coming up on a roadblock, be sure to hit the cop car on the rear quarter panel or turn in a completely different direction. This will keep you from hitting a lot of spike strips.
7. In a persuit, don't do a SELECT reset, you will go from evade to a full bust almost instantly.
8. Try as much as possible to use your brakes in straight lines. Don't use them mid-turn. This will keep you from spinning out mid-turn. "brake in, power out"

A good way to get bounty.

When there is a roadblock in front of you slow down time and hit a police car. It should get full damage and spin real fast in the air. If you follow this you will lose some speed, but your car will stay on the ground.

One of the most fastest cars

Get a ford gt and tune it ti the max. Handiling, acceleration, and top speed should be full. The car can go over 240 mph.

Need Money?

When you need money and you are going to sell a car, go to the one-stop shop. Put all stock body kits, hoods, rims etc. (it will cost you nothing to put them on) and you should get some money from trading in the other parts.

It works and gets you more cash to spend on your other cars.

Sharp Corners

When going around a sharp corner, put of speedbreaker(o) slow time down and make it easier to make a clean turn.

How to lose cops on highways

To lose some cops on highways go to the highway exits(the road that get you outta the higway, like intersections or something) pull left to the exit and on the last second pull to the right and all the cops will exit the highway you should go hard on the brakes and go the other way when the cops lose sight of you. This is almost fulproof.

Just race the other cars

To play hold down x to go, square to reverse and thats all you should need at the moment.

When attempting a tolebooth challenge, make sure you use as many shortcuts as possible, they can reduce up to 5 seconds off your time.

I hav got one car at the moment and that is the gt40 i have put everythin on it and it is fast. when i unlock it the top porche is going to be mine and im just gettin loads of money to get ready for it. i am gin to get the mclare from bull 2 beat razor (BUT B WORNED) u need some time to get to grips with your car. spen 5 mins on the game to get the speed and handling so you are ready to run the roads. The way to do it is when yyou win it or buy a car. get all the engine stuff 1st then go and get ur carinto the 5 * ratin twice. this way you know you are good. EVADE BOTH PESUITS. you then need to go the the garage and PIMP UR RIDE. this way your stars are clened. Then race ur rival. Go and win Fools.

After you defeat any blacklist member you will get the choice of two markers
If you choose the first or second marker you will get the blacklist rivals car, money, out of jail etc I've got the first car vw golf, and the rx-8

Burger King Race (Challenge Series)

At the press start button screen press the following: up, down, up, down, left, right, left, right. By doing this you can unlock a Burger King race in the challenge series. If you beat this race you can unlock all Junkman upgrades (NOT IN CAREER MODE)

When you press down you see the blacklist driver and what is required to challenge when you go to bounty for the cop races you then go against them to get lots of points and long running time...... turn right then you go to the stadium you drive round the stadium the whole time but make sure you keep the cops close and when are done get rid of them and then hide in the underground parking lot.

If you want to get more money all you have to do is go back and do other races. Its easy money and you can get enough to buy anything.

Best car to beat razor with

The best car to beat razor with is the dodge viper because it is the fastest car you will get out of all the blacklists. You can't upgrade because it has ultimate on everything. You should beat razor quite easily because he is a bad driver (half on handling).

2 Cars

Keep 2 Cars.

One car for racing and the other car for pursuits, that way your pursuit car will have a high heat level to make your bounty go higher quicker. And your racing car will have a low heat level to make sure it dosent get hard to evade if you do get in a pursuit with that car.

Police & Tollbooth Detector

If it is orange then it will be a Tollbooth (If in a Tollbooth race) or a Speed Camera if in free roam.

Watch out if it is green as that is the police.

The faster it blinks the closer you are to the police/tollbooth/speed camera.

Easy Car Bashing

When you are heading towards a roadblock or spike strip try hiting the back of the car blocking the road because the engine is in the front so it is harder to push it out the way. You also get more ponts. Hope it helps.

To shake off the cops quickley drive to the bus station and go up the ramp and park at the top the cops will lose you and then wate till the cooldown bar is full

Pink slip strategy

When I select two markers, I usually go for the middle ? And one of the side ?'s. Every time I have done this I have won a pink slip.

More money

If you've played need for speed underground 2,and have stuff from it saved to your memory card, when you first start to play the game you will recive extra money to start with.

How to beat razor and beat the game

You all know that in order to beat razor you are going to half to have a really fast car.

Some people say that you should get ming(blacklist member 6) cannot necessarily the way that I beat him is that I race ronnie #3 andgot his car then I raced bull #2 and got his mclaren and I used that to beat razor because 1 it is really fast and 2 it has good handeling.

After you beat razor there is a short movie on when you discover that mia is actually an undercover cop, in that movie when you become the number 1 most wanted racer, cross orders every cop in the game to come after you.

Now when this happens head over to the stadium in rosewood and go to that road you know the one that wont let you in it normally go to it and it will be open.

Head on down that road until you get to the bridge your car is fast enought to make it and crosses isnt so that is how you beat need for speed most wanted.

Re-Random Pink Slip

After defeating a blacklist rival, you may opt to take the pink slip from them. Since the contents of the pink slip is randomized, you should make an effort to save the game before racing a rival -- reload the game and restart the race if you get something you do not want.

if you are at the back of the pack

If you are a beginner do all three of the beginning races and once you beat theme do one of theme over and over again or just do it in different orders but make sure you win the race.

If you have trouble getting car upgrades such as the engine and etc keep doing theme over till you get a lot of money and buy the parts have fun with your car and wup a$$.
