Anyone have a Half-Life Two CD Key? For some reason my CD key doesnt work...

To enter cheats on this game it says you have to press (~) to bring up a console and then you can type in the cheats. I have activated the console and have tried pressing this button but it doesn't work, is there a reason it doesn't work or any advice you could give?

Go into the Options menu > then Keyboard (I think (sorry)) > then Advanced. You sould see a box that says activate console. There you go!

Well your version of the game is either not working properly or that it needs to be deleted from your computer so that you can download it again.

Right I have seen lots of scenes of this game on half life 2.com like the scene with that blue tentacle that pulls a guy down in the ground where are all these scenes it's like halo 2 that had a level that was missing I really want to know can someone tell me plz

You need to go to keyboard options, then advanced options, and put a check next to allow developers console (~)

To bring up the console menu just press the"~" button which is situater above the tab button.

I am in the level where there are 2 rooms one is full of water and it has a wall basicaly made with metal bars and full of pipes I can't get through there I throught I figured it out but I can't get up to the vent can you please help me?

Hi dude...

What you need to do is...

Enter the room with water and pipes, go under in the water, now climb the ladder untill you reach the end of the ladder (wich is where you came from).

Now you'll see that you can jump on the pipes, on a vertical pipe is a sort of switch (it has the shape of a circle), you'll reach it from above, falling from one pipe to the other...

When you turn the switch the level of the water will rise, it will go higher, now go in the other room, you'll see that now you can just swim through the hole in the wall...

I think you will be able to find your way out now...

OK, I am in chapter 5, where I am suppose to play cach with the dog, but the thing is just walking into that girl, and no matter what I do (throw arround with gravity gun, shoot it) the thing just does the same over and over... I cant seem to get it's attention.

Any hints

Listen to them talk.

Eventually Barney will open a the door to the suit. After the scene with the headcrab, walk up to the suit and press E.

I have a problem.

I am trying to jump over a ramp or something I have to jump over the ramp into a pipe, I just cant get over, there is something wrong because I can't use the turbo on the car/boat I am using, discription of area if that helps:

A lot of water, a boat in the middle of the water, a long fence around the ramp, a roof over the fence with buildings and cars,

Please help me, I've been on this place for about 4 hours..

I think it's the "Water Hazard" mission you're talking about...

Look there's a container somewhere in the water right?
So you need to step out of the car/boat and go behind the pipes and then go look at the container from the inside, there are 2 things that can be exploded, so shot them, the explosion will open the door from the inside to the outside, vice-versa, so anyway go back in the car/boat and go through the container and just make your way around it till you reach the ramp and just jump it...

I think you where talking about that mission, if I was wrong please tell me...

WTF? I try to start HL2 and I get to the loading screen and it CRASHES!

Did the game ever say your graphics card wasnt up to date?

I couldn't play it and it crashed at loading screen until I had updated my card, try doing that or check the game specs.

I just got my PC on the 18th. I belive my card is up-to-date.

It generates some message saying something like "memory cannot be "read" My father's PC's have the EXACT same problem!

How do you jump over ramp with buggy? Although I go at it at HIGH SPEED I can't seem to jump over it. It always fall's short. Can anyone help me? Or did I forget to take something? Please help me. Or did I forgot to install NOS?

If you go to the ramp you’ll see a opening in the wall to the left for you. Go through there.

At the end of that tunnel you’ll find some blue barrels. Use ‘E’ to pick them up.

While holding, jump into the water and dive. You’ll see something that the ramp is “standing” on with a blue barrel under, put all the barrels you find under and you shall be able to jump on it.
