Cheat Codes

To access the codes, press enter. A little box will come up, and you can write stuff to appear on the screen as a message. If you type in a code, the word will not appear on your screen and the code will activate. If some codes don't work experiment with not using capitals to begin with and having no spaces between words. Most codes require a Town Center, and most don't have capitals - I just put them in here.

Here are some codes that I have found useful:

Pepperoni Pizza - 1000 food

Gaia - play as Gaia and control the animals instead!

Steroids - (careful with spelling! I often put in Steriods!) this allows your villagers to collect all the wood/food/stone/gold from its source instantly by touching it, and build instantly by touching it! Warning: All players in the game, including the computer, get the advantages as well!

Big Bertha - when you build a seige workshop, you can buy the biggest and most upgraded catapult without having to pay or wait for the upgrades!

photon man - a nuclear guy appears for free at your Town Center!
bigdaddy - a big car appears for free at your Town Center and can blast most buildings in two shots! Definetly the most powerful unit.

diediedie - all other civilisations are destroyed and you win!

Switch scenarios wit your friends for multiplayer

This will only work if you have MSN Instant Messenger. You have to go to 'send files' then your C drive to programs and then click Microsoft games.

Then click Age of Empires.
Then you click scenario folder to open it and click on the scenario you created and send it to your friend.

After you send it your friend they have to go to file on MSN Instant messenger and click open 'received files'.

Then they have to go to my computer open the C drive then click progams, then Microsoft games. Then they have to click Age of Empires and then double click scenario folder.

Then click the 'restore' button to shrink the window. Then all they have to do is drag the scenario you sent him from the received window to the scenario folder window and he will have your scenario to play with you or by themself . This will work on all the Age of Empire games.

In any game mode, press enter, and a screen will appear saying chat. Type in gaia to control all animals, but lose control of all humans. (When you type this in, know that the humans that you once controled will be able to hunt you. But.. You can attack any unit, Including other animals.)(Also birds, fish, whale, and Gazelle, cannot attack any unit.)

This is my favorite code! At any time (In a game mode)press enter, and a screen will appear, saying chat. Type in steroids and you will not only build instantly, but when a villager touches a tree, gold deposit, stone deposit, and a dead animal, berry bush, or a whale, your player will be stocked up on that resource. And will take it back to the Storage pit, Granary, or town-center, and will go back to work until that resource is gone. And maybe will go and find more of that resource.

This is my favorite code! At any time (In a game mode)press enter, and a screen will appear, saying chat. Type in steroids and you will not only build instantly, but when a villager touches a tree, gold deposit, stone deposit, and a dead animal, berry bush, or a whale, your player will be stocked up on that resource. And will take it back to the Storage pit, Granary, or town-center, and will go back to work until that resource is gone. And maybe will go and find more of that resource.
