You know that pine apple on delfino plaza and it's giant?
Well I think I know how to go inside the pipe!
1st, somehow you are meant to get the mega yoshi (im not sure but it might be a pink one) and jump on top and lick it.
2nd, go down the pipe!
next, under the bridge in the water, in the town centre, go on the boat and under the bridge, jump up into the black hole.
ITS A MASSIVE SLIDE THINGY AND ITS REALLY FUN!
Also go on the ferry or swim out to the desert island and you can spray the fire, and thats pretty funny.
Theres also another slide in the water near the green pipes. It's near the light house. Just look around and jump on the pipes. It's there somewhere....
And in the beach world-place you should spray the plant thingys and something cool happens. Also theres this thing you spray on the sand where it meets the water and thats a really cool slide thing too!

Alternate Way to Defeat

Hi, the only reason I'm submitting it is people can sometimes have trouble with this level. Anyway, I'll begin. Go across the bridge, avoiding the winds. Hop into the river and travel to the springs. Now this will take patience, and full health. After in the water, look torwards the platforms below the mayor. Do a air spin jump close, but be close enough so you can land back in the water. Repeat until there's a small part on the ground with no goop. Then do a spin jump as close as you can to get on the platform. This probably will take some health away. Note: After you clear more goop in that direction you can land on the grass. But you knew that, didn't you? After you get on the platform, get FLUDD. Squirt the M. Squirt the mayor. Now I'm not sure if it's on this level, but it's in some level. There's a big M under a lot of goop. Hey, you might as well try here, right? Then get your shine sprite. This method can take as little as 60 seconds, and as long as 5 minutes, for most people. I personally think this is easier than going under the villiage, but you can do whichever way you want. ^.^ :) Good luck with the whole game, happy gaming, and I hope this was useful.

Gold birds

When you see a gold bird spray it you get a shine sprite I did this in noki bay and in the harbor I got 1 sprite in noki bay and 1 sprite in Rico harbour....!

Scare yoir friends...

With the turbo nozzle.just hold R as lightly as possible and youll start moving without chargin the nozzle or movin the joy stick. All you don't do is turn you just go straight.<( " )>

Easiest Way to Get 99 lives

Go to Pianta Village. Do episode 5 (Secret of the Village Underside) and get to the secret level. Once you get there, keep going until you get to the platform where all the enemies keep poping out of the walls of the platform.

Now, you must gently spray three of them with the squirt nozzel so they turn upide down.

When you turned three of them upside down, jump on one of them and the other two upside down enemies will die and a life will popout of one of the bodies as they die.

Important: On the small walls of the platform, there are painings pf the enemy. These are where the enemies pop out of.

Before you begin flipping them over and getting lives, spray two of these paintings away so there won't be so many enemies to deal with, but there will be enough to flip over and win your lives.

This is the easiest way to get lives and it only took me 15 minutes to get 99 lives.

Delfino Plaza:Hidden Rocket Nozzle

When at Delfino Plaza,do the cheat to go under the town and go under the prison(it's recomended you use the "Unlimited Health" action replay code before you do this)and look up.

You should see an inexcesible rocket nozzle(without a bottom,so you can guess none of the boxes have bottoms).

Why it's there is unknown,butt there is another hidden thing(mostly unrelated,but someone had to post this one,too)in the place with the shell people(I can't think of the name right now)in the level where your in a jar,behind one of the doors is a book.

Why this book is here is also unknown,but it's one of the biggest mysteries in the game.

Unlock yoshi

To unlock yoshi get 30 sun-shines.

If you go to Pianta Village and walk very slowly onto the bridge from the grass you will fall through the boards and hang on the ledge.

Spin jumpin' mad

Hey, did ya know that you can execute a spin jump even while dashing with the turbo nozzle? Yup, by doing so you can gain serious height. Simply rotate the control-stick while dashing. It works on land as well as water.

Bonuses

Once you get all 120 Shines...
- You'll see a new Ending Screen after the Credits.
- You'll also be able to get a stylish Hawaiian Shirt from that guy wearing the Sunglasses; he's in almost every Level including Delfino Plaza - at the end of Fruit Stands (towards the Bell Tower).

Walk below the town

First, get a turbo nozle in the town square. Now go over to where all the fruit venders are. Stand between the pepper stand and the pear/pineapple, what not stand. There should be a Shadow Mario poster on the wall between them.

Now, turbo along the wall behind the pear/pineapple stand. If done correctly, Mario should Turbo through the wall. Keep going to you hit ground. Look up. Pretty neat, huh?

To get back up turbo and jump to where a underground passage is. Do not run out of water!

Cheap lives

Going into the town grab all of the coins. Then go into a secret level inside the town that once finished will bring you back into the town. Grab the coins and repeat this proccess until you have the desired amount of lives.

Lots of Lives easily

There are 3 places to get 1up mushrooms in delfino:
1.under water in between the pinna park cannon and that bridge the boat goes under.
2.the little island straight ahead of the pinna park cannon. Just squirt the smoking pile of logs and a mushroom will come out.
3.down near the guy that gives you glasses, just walk around near him and you'll see a circle apear (thats a underground tunnel) ground pound on it and go through and there will be a mushroom.

Now to keep getting more you need to go in any area (ex.pianta village, ricco harbour) and when you get in go to exit area and find the mushrooms again and do the same thing. Keep doing that until you desire.

Vacation Mario

First go to the amusement park.Then let those flying things on the beach take your hat.Then get the sunglasses from the yellow pianta (if you have the vacation shirt after you beat the game that would be a real bonus for it). It will look like mario is really on vacation.

Walk in first-person

To walk in first-person view,do the following:
(1)Get the turbo nozzle
(2)Switch to first-person view(the Y button)
(3)Gently hold the R button until it starts spinning,NOT POWERING UP.
That should allow you to walk in first-person,preety cool once you get the hang of it.
NOTE:You can also use this to walk in third-person,and swim(not using the A button),but I would just recommend using the joystick since you have to anyways.

Blue Coins

Blue Coins

Blue coins can be found on some Sandy Areas like Gelato Beach. Some Blue Coins are from the Ladies that need fruit. Look at places that might be unusual like the waterfall in the place where it's night and day and the carnival places's clams. Don't forget to spray the grafitti shapes and Ms.

Shine Sprites

Shine Sprites

1.Some S.S. (Shine Sprites) can be obtained at "Secret Levels" of each chapter. Just do the "S.L." twice. The second time, a red bubble is on the ground and you need to butt-slam it and the timer will start and 8 red coins will appear. Collect them to get another S.S. In the same level.
2.Another S.S. Can be found by getting 100 coins in each levels, Delfino Island, and Delfino port (where the boats are).
3.More S.S. Are at pipes on the Island which requires much patience because it's long. And near the cannon there is a series of platforms that has a pipe (not near the end).You need rocket FLUDD or Hover FLUDD if you think the Rocket FLUDD is hard. One is under the bridge that the boat sails under. A S.S. Can be found when you clean the S.S. Statue. Another is at the top of the Light House, you need the Rocket FLUDD to get to the top and do it one more time with a butt slam for a S.S.. Two Bells at the Other LIGHTHOUSE and at the Other building with a blue coin inside. Clean them.

Well if you go to pinna park and spray water all around untill you have 100 gold coins you get a shine.

Bloopers(the little squids)

On blooper scooper safari, get on the yellow blooper then go to the cave. When there choose the yellow one again,then after the turn with the red blocks, go through all the little spikes.when you're at the end of the little spikes,jump onto the platform. When you cross the finish line, you will just keep going!
(NOTE: ONCE YOU DO THIS YOU CAN NEVER FINISH.THE ONLY WAY TO GET OUT IS TO EXIT THE AREA! ALSO: IF YOU LOOK AT YOUR TIME IT WILL BE UNDER 30 SECONDS,IF DONE RIGHT.)

Easy way to get 2 shine sprites

By the shine gate there is a store wtih umbrallas infront of it. Go in the store and talk to the guy and he should say something about crushing boxes. Agree with him and beat hitit before time runes out. Then you should be able to get a free shine sprite. Do it a couple more times then you will get a max of 2 shine spirtes. then thats how you beat this little hint.

Fighting the giant eel

When your fighting the giant eel make sure you get the pink bubbles. So you can refill your life meter and you don't die of no air.Or you can just get the coins and use those to refill your life meter.

Mario slip ' n ' slide

This is kinda fun and gets you around real quick.

Spray the ground while you are running and then do a dive.

When you hit the water you take off like a rocket!

Extra Shines

This might just be after you beat bowzer but try it before as well go to the places with the word secret in the chapter and after you beat it do it again and you will still have fludd and there will be one of those red things that makes the red coins appear and you will have to get the red coins in that place and you get another shine! It really works though you might have to beat bowzer because I did not try it until after I beat him.

Shine Sprite In City

In the main city, there is a very dirty shine sprite statue. If you clean it, you will get a shine sprite. To clean it, you can either get behind the statue on the grass near the small waterfall and aim and spray. The other thing you can do is use the rocket nozzle to get up to the top of the tower and then spray. Either way you will get the shine sprite.

Yoshi Hints

I few hints for using yoshi. 1 he can run faster than mario. His juice can turn enemies in to blocks for a short time to which you can stand on. Yoshi can go in shallow water. Yoshis spin jump is much higher. To get to the island with the pianta on it wait for the first boat to get to the docks then jump onto it then ride it to the first island. Or take the sewers to the first island. The boat is little easier for beginners. Then wait for the second boat to come. Note if yoshis starts running low on juice then snack on some cocunuts till the second boat gets there then jump on it. Then meet the last boat to get to the island. If it is absolutly necassary then spin jump onto the little outpost and eat the banana but then you risk landing in the water. You don't need a lot of juice as soon as you land on the island spray the goop to get ihn the pipe. You then have to guide the raft down a river to get eight red coins. Quite challenging you can go on forever because there is an extra life you can keep getting. You cannot touch the water. I have killed my self for the life.

Turn water into juice!

First hatch Yoshi then spray water, quickly jump on Yoshi and look at the water you sprayed, it will turn into juice!

Delfino

Have you ever wondered why there's so many dolphins? Like the island, posters, or the island's name is delfino the italanian word for dolphin it's because the GameCube was originly supposed to be called the Dolphin. Just another one of Nintindo's "Easter eggs".

Some Secrets

1. Sunglasses
Once you earn 30 Shines, talk to the one Pianta guy who wears a pair of Sunglasses - he's located once in every level!

2. Shirt
Once you've beaten the game, talk to the same Pianta guy who gave you the Sunglasses and he'll give you Sunglasses and a new Shirt.

3. Alternate Ending
Once you get all 120 Shines, beat the game yet again for a different Ending!

Get to the Pinta Village early

Wall kick up the Shine Gate until, you get to the big shine sprite. Get your hover nozzle on then run then triple jump.

Activate the nozzle as soon as you are in the air. You will then go up the side of the wall of the gate. (You have to get good air.)

Next, keep going up and finally you will be at the top.

This may take a couple of tries. You can only do the stages until you get Yoshi.

Shine sprite

After you get the rocket nozzle, use it to go at the top of the lighthouse.

You should see something that looks like a hockey puck.

Stand on it then use the rocket nozzle to jump high. Once you get to the highest press L to smash the "hockey puck" then a shine sprite will come out.

Skip Level 1 of Bianco Hills.

Enter level 1 of Bianco Hills and instead of fighting the plant to create the road, jump up onto the bridge, go up the windmill, and face Petey Pirahnna.

Get the Star and you have just completed level 2 of Bianco Hills without completing level 1!

How to beat level 1 of pianta village

First squirt them until they're black (or not red ).

Then grab their tail and aim for the spring then let go.

Do this 3 times and you'll beat it.

Shines

1. Go ontop of the lighthouse then with the rocket nozzle blast off then ground pound the slab(use rocket nozzle to get on lighthouse).

2. Jump on the boat and when it goes under the bridge jump and get the coin and get all the red coins but watch for the hole at the base.

3. Blue coin in goopy inferno swim under the bridge.
burning hedgehog.

This is a little level hint

You know the secret stage where you need to take the pineapple out of the pipe well, the first level when the manta ray comes.

What you do is break it up into small peices when they are purple that means that they only need one more blast of water when you kill most of them the hotel will appear.

HINT(the safe places where they won't come are on a tree,under a hut roof,or just anywhere shady if you have any problems just post on this site!

ez way to get a shine

To get this shine follow the instructions.

Go to the beach and get a barrel full of water go to the beach beside the lighthouse, toss the barrel in the sand and a shine sprite will apear.

Trust me I'm not a liar mean that I truly do:)

Hidden Sprites.....!



If you have the rocket pack then go to the lighthouse and get on top.Once you've done that then you will see a black cicle thing with a face on it.



Use the rocket again and do a hip drop at the very top of the boost.



If you hit the thing with a firery hip drop, the black thing will break. Then a sprite will appear.



Also when you use that gay yoshi to get to the island to go in to the pipe, eat that yellow bird and you'll get another free shine sprite.

Hey I got a cool hint on the game in noki bay if you can't beat Eely-Mouuth's dentist well I know a way to beat it.



First clean his some of his teeth then when the Eely shoots you up quickly get coins and do it over again a lots of times in til you bet it.

Hello everyone! This how to get more lives quicker and easier than pie! First, you must have unlocked the level "Pianta Village" and have completed episode 6 of it. Go to episode 6 of Pianta Village and successfully douse all of the 10 villagers in the fire graffiti within the time limit of 3 minutes. Do not talk to the kids that were in the fire graffiti but talk to the adults that were in the fire graffiti. If you haven't collected the blue coins that they give you the first time around then go into the level again and repeat the process until here. Once you talk to someone that was inside the fire graffiti except one of the kids, they will give you a green 1-up mushroom. Since there are 10 villagers that are trapped inside the fire graffiti and there are 2 kids out of those 10 villagers, you will be able to get up to 8 green 1-up mushrooms at a time. This action is helpful for defeating the Koopa family, completing levels that bring you to another place, or for just gaining lives! I hope you all have fun doing this trick!

It tells you where all the Shine Sprites are and the Blue Coins are.
