Glitch

Find a shine sprite jump for it get it and press y immediatly and turn the control stick in circles an mario will do the shine thing but face another way.

Skip to a future level

Go to the Shine Sprite tower. Use the flip to get to the back of it. Stand on the grassy hill that connects to the back wall of the tower. Do an back-flip-twist to hit the back wall and then wall jump out, and hover until you are on the ledge right by the giant sprite. Now do anoth three-jump-flip outward, and when you are at your highest point hover to the top of the tower. You will be able to go into Piannta Village. (forgive my spelling). THIS TAKES PRACTICE!!!

Secret Stage

Go to Delfino Plaza. Swim to the western side. There are these platforms. Go to the last one on the left and you will see a warp pipe. Go inside. You will be transported to an obstacle course. Avoid the obstacles and get to the shine.

Specail bird

On some of the little islands, you can see a yellow bird. Sneak up to it and shoot it till it hits the ground. If it hits the ground, it will give you a shine sprite.

Quick and easy shines

Here is how to get three easy shines from Delfino plaza.

First go to the sunglasses dude (near the lighthouse) and look out to sea. You should see a small Island. Get yoshi and go over to it (by hopping from boat to boat from the shine gate). Once there, look on the sea near the island, and you should see a golden bird. Spray it until it turns into a shine sprite. This is one of the three secret shines (I think!). After that, with yoshi spray the yellow goo on the pipe on the island , to melt it and reveal a mini game. just collect the red coins for the shine.

Another shine is located near the entrance to pinna park. swim under the cliff near the cannon, and use the rocket boost to get onto some trees, coming out of the cliff. Then hop from tree to tree until you get to the pipe. Another way to get up is to find the cliff part that sticks out, and rocket boost up to the pipe. In the pipe is another mini game where you collect the red coins.

How To Get Yoshi

To unlock Yoshi go to Pinna Park with the cannon and complete shine 4.

Extra Shines

On gelato beach, near the sand bird water the dune bud there and some steps should appear squirt the wall at the bottom of the stairs to find a shine......!

Delfino shines

go in the house not far from the entrance to pinna park and talk to the man.

break all the boxes within the time limit to get a shine.do it again for another shine.

There are 240 blue coins in the game so you can get 24 shines from the boathouse.

At the dune bug level water the dune bug that leads to steps that lead to coins, instead of getting those coins squirt water at the wall VERY quickly before it goes away.



When you water it the wall there will be a picture of a shine sprite when there is a complete picture of a shine sprite, you will get one of the secret shinesprites of the game!

This is a really hard but cool cheat...

This will allow you to access stage 7 Pianta Village at the begging of the game.



Find the giant shine gate over looking delfino plaza. go behind it and side somersault from behind it into a wall jump and then once you reach the top hover on to the ledge.



Part of the ledge you are standin on will be facing the town. it also sticks out a little bit. If you practice for a while you will be able to do a triple jump on this ledge.



Once you do hover off to the side a little bit and mario will be able to grab the roof of the hole shine gate you have been climbing.



I you get up to the top(took me an hour) you will be able to access pianta village...!

Easy Secret Shine Sprite:



If you use your rocket nozzle to get onto the lighthouse you can get a secret shine sprite.



Use the rocket nozzle to get on the very top of the lighthouse.



Then use another launch into the air, and while in the air do a but slam.



You will then break something and get a shine sprite.

Yoshi



Min. 14 Shine Sprites: Must complete Ep. 4 of Pinna Park. When you've done that, you'll see Shadow Mario clutching a Yoshi Egg in the Plaza!



Turbo Nozzle



Get 25 Shine Sprites and Yoshi. No pressure. When you have done this, Shadow Mario appears in the Plaza, holding a piece of machinery: the Turbo Nozzle! If you know how to nab Yoshi's Egg, you know what to do.



Rocket Nozzle



Get 30 Shine Sprites and Yoshi. You know what Shadow Mario does in the Plaza.....



Sunglasses



Get 30 Shine Sprites.

Once you have unlocked the level "Bianco Hills" go into any episode and go in the willage part of the level where the Pianta woman that always throws you. Face her and look left towards the hills. Run a few feet and successfully do a triple jump, activate FLUDD's Hover Nozzle and hove in the air to get on top of a cliff. On the cliff, you will see a blue coin that you can use to get Shine Sprites in the boathouse that leads to Ricco Harbor. Just go around the boathouse until you see an opening door that you can go into. However, you need ten blue coins to buy one Shine Sprite. You'll need to get nine more before you can buy a Shine Sprite. There are two hundred-forty blue coins in the game so that means you can only buy twenty-four Shine Sprites but you will need all of the blue coins to complete the game.

This is a way to get more Shine Sprites. If you go into an episode that brings you to another location to get a Shine Sprite such as "The Secret of the Village Underside" of Piant Village or "The Secret of Ricco Tower" of Ricco Harbor, that level will be slightly different the second time around. In some part of the level, there will be a red bump that you can ground pound on and a sign will come up that says "Collect All 8 Red Coins Within The Time Limit! Good Luck!" There will be a set time limit at the lower-left side of the screen. You must collect all 8 red coins or else you will die. But if you do, you will get a Shine Sprite for all of your hard work. You need these Shine Sprites to complete the game. I call these particular Shine Sprites "Hidden Shine Sprites" as they are not the three "Secret Shine Sprites". Comleting the game is quite hard, but this cheat will help you throughout the game.

To get the sunglasses, you must have 30 shinesprites {it's shinesprites not sunsprites or sunshinesprites, you naive homosaipien children.} The hawaiian shirt is obtainable after you conquer the Corona Mountain area.

After 18 years we finally get to see mario wearing something different for a change.

Hurricane spin

To do a hurricane spin just rotater the control stick once (or twice not sure)then spray water (not hover nozel). And you should rotate very rapidly and spray water in a circle. If you rotate it and then jump you can spin and spray in the air.

P.S. Yoshis can only do it in the air.

A pretty wirerd glitch

Alright this one is easy or once you get the hang of it is.
You need the hover nozzle for this one.
By the fountain (you know the ones with the pineapples in them) go by the tree with bananas on it. You will notice that the building next to it has one of it's windows opened. Ok heres the hard part climb up the banana tree, face towards the open window, jump towards the open window and hover to it. Now heres the really hard part you have to try to make it in between the open window and the roof without going in the window or on the roof. If you did it correctly you should go through the building, but your not finished yet, don't keep hovering in the building or you'll end up going through it. Right when you get inside the building stop hovering and drop. Theres two set backs to this. One you might end up in the tunnel, and Two right when you land if you don't start runnin you will die.

REMEMBER AFTER YOU DROP THROUGH THE BUILDING AND HIT THE GROUND START RUNNING LIKE CRAZY!!!!! BECAUSE IF YOU STOP YOU DIE.

Swim through buildings

Hi everyone, Creepglitch's crashing the party. I got a glitch here for you to try:
You can ONLY perform this glitch while Delfino plaza is all flooded.
Swim to the circular building about in the middle of the plaza (the one with the red pipe leading to Sirena beach). Now, jump and use the hover nozzle at the lower part of the first roof (right beneath the brown pianta) and you MIGHT fall through the roof. Now have fun exploring the delfino plaza. You can swim below the ground and dive up beneath other buildings. Be careful however, or you might go up on the street and have to do this glitch all over again.

Note: Yeah, I know. It's very and I mean VERY hard to make this glitch work. I have done it successfully only TWO TIMES!

Stomach Jump

This skill is called the stomach jump, it is very easy..

You don't need any water for this, all you do is jump (To jump press the A Button, doesnt matter how many times you press A in the air) then while in mid-air, press B button and keep on pressing B button and if you want to get up and stop press the A button again, but if you want to just slide to a stop, then just stop pressing B button and you should slide to a stop..

Secret manhole on the beach and shine

If you wanna find a secret manhole on the beach spray water around and then you should see a circle and then slam on it and later on spray water on the beach to reveal a secret shine!

2 City Spites

SUNSPRITES IN THE SAND
Go to the main city. In the sand by the lighthouse there is a hidden picture of a Sunsprite. Reveal it to get a Sunsprite.

SUNSPRITE IN THE BRIDGE
Get on a boat that goes under a small tunnel. In the middle of the bridge, jump. (there is a coin at the point of where you are supposed to jump)You'll go to minigame. Collect the 8 red coins to get a Sunsprite.

Later in the game talk to this guy in sunglasses and he will give you a pair.note:



The sunglasses will come off if you go into a level.

Once you have unlocked the level "Noki Bay", go to any episode and go to where there is already a wall for you to wall jump in. Get to the top of the wall and get into the tunnel. Proceed to the end of the tunnel and you will end up on the side of a giant cliff. You will see and opening. Go into the opening and you will automatically jump up through the cliff. Do not press anything during this time. You will end up on top of the cliff and you will see a yellow bird next to a tree. Jump on top of the tree and with the Squirt Nozzle, douse the yellow bird three times (or more if you are not quick enough) and for your effort, the yellow bird will transform into a Shine Sprite and land on the same cliff you are on. That particular Shine Sprite is on of the three secret and hard to get Shine Sprites that you really want to get out of the way. Once you get the Shine Sprite, you will be one Shine Sprite closer to completing the game!

Contrary to popular belief, defeating Bowser is not required to re-access the airstrip.



All you need is access to Corona Mountain. Once there, pause and hit "Exit Level".



And voila! The flood will vanish, and the ferry to the airstrip will run...and you didn't even beat Corona Mountain.

Secret Sunshrine: Go behind the lighthouse(entrance to the beach) and jump on the platforms using fludd. On the last platform, there should be a warp pipe.



Jump in it and there will be some kind of small game. Dodge the holes, and at the end, balance on a thin plank and go to the shrine.



If you fall off, you will not only have to start over, but you will lose a life.
